I just joined gasbuddy but when I log on and select an area, it shows me the stations but NO prices. What am I missing or doing wrong?

tfpmike, it seems that you've joined at the fictitious location "GasBuddy" instead of through a state, province, or metro area as intended. You'll need to decide which is the appropriate one for you -- for example, I'm in the San Jose metro area of California, so I use www.SanJoseGasPrices.com -- and connect through that URL instead of through GasBuddy.com. You can also ask the moderators to change your official location (home site), though this really doesn't affect anything except how you appear here in the forum, since any member can always login on any of the sites.

The prices that you would normally see are there because other members have updated them. However the prices expire after a day or two. The problem can be remedied by entering the current price. In fact it is best to update any price you see because doing so will keep the information current and extend the expiration time.
