In the United States there is 1 Witness per every 272 persons. There were 35,597 baptized in 2008. The hours spent preaching the "good news" by the United States Witnesses for the year 2008 Totaled: 217,881,267 hours.

I appreciate the precise work of each Congregation in their work of reporting and logging the numbers that go into tabulation by the Governing body. Shows the unity that Jesus spoke about...the commission to make disciples of "all" nations teaching them to observe all the things that Jesus told the disciples to observe and promising "to be with us" in this work... "and Lo, I am with you until the end!" Matthew 28:19,20
