"Look at what they're doing today in the name of Allah."
And look at those who have profited from fear and abused power using fear as an excuse for people to give up rights and freedoms in the last decade. To lay the blame on religion is untruthful. The blame lies on those in power, be they secular or religious, using laws or God for their own gain.

People wishing to avoid responsibility for their actions will always tend to point to religion, tankerCA. It doesn't matter that much which one.

I don't consider those people to be proper scientists, tankerCA. They take their beliefs religiously.

Yes, tankerCA, fear is often used by religionists to abuse the innocent into producing money for the church. But what does that have to do with the science of Evolution? Unlike religionists, Scientists tend to have morals, and therefore don't do things like that.

Fear has a purpose. I thought evolutionists would have figured that out by now.

The fact that atheistic regimes have murdered more people than religions is not comforting. While it is debatable whether hundreds of millions were killed in the "Name of Atheism" there is no question that atheistic regimes have. Atheism lends itself to the Darwinian concept that man is no more or less than the sum of random mutations and natural selection. In fact, Dawkins, an atheist said that mutation is very nearly without exception 'deleterious to the specie' relegating natural selection as the single most important factor responsible for evolution. Said in another way by an atheist on the "Atheist Experience" website, "This does not mean people are less important than animals, but we should, as supposed rationalists, recognise[sic] that no one animal (or plant) is worth more than another, except in purely subjective terms; or personal terms (she was my friend), or sentimental terms, or from vanity ('we have arts for gods sake')." We are not to fear men they can only harm the flesh.
Psa 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose Elohim is JAHWAH; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. Psa 33:13 JAHWAH looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men. Psa 33:14 From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth. Psa 33:15 He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works. Psa 33:16 There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength. Psa 33:17 An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength. Psa 33:18 Behold, the eye of JAHWAH is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; Psa 33:19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. Psa 33:20 Our soul waiteth for JAHWAH: he is our help and our shield. Psa 33:21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in His holy name. Psa 33:22 Let thy mercy, O JAHWAH, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
Remnant of the LIght, for those seeking the true meat of the word and the power of His Name.

TO galah who wrote: "Notice how many leaders and adherents have committed genocide over the years in name of one religion or another."
This is a sad fact of human history and we can see it still going on today. But even that is not as deplorable as the far greater number who have been killed by atheistic regimes. People will always find an excuse to kill their fellow man.

Not my ""religion""...but, I have said this many times before...I came to Christ because he came to me, while I was minding my own business. No fear involved.
