Driving alot less, the last 3 days my truck sitting in the driveway empty. Things alot different since being laid off 2 months ago. In the Gramholm pinch, blowing away. She got what she wanted.

This year I need to drive From Grande Prairie to Calgary, so it will be much more than last year when I just dove around the city.

I'll be flying out of town with the family, but renting a car at destination so definitely more driving this year.

Although increased distances for holiday travel plans, driving habits make for more efficient driving.

How accurate can these studies be!? Just because im not traveling more isnt because of the economy, it's because i had a life change. so the economy has no part in why im traveling LESS this year!

About the same as last year. We drive a dozen hours to visit the Mother-In-Law between Christmas and New Year's. That's the only planned driving we have. You just have to plan for it I guess. Thank goodness gas isn't $4/gallon like it was a couple of years ago. Plans may change if it gets that high again.

Either about the same or substantially less depending on whether my wife wants to do the grand triangle again (GSO, NC to Toledo, OH to Rochester, NY to GSO, NC). This year would be a bit cheaper, last year we rented a mini-van because we didn't want to rely on a 13 y/o Geo Prism. This year we have a brand new VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI. It's so new I still haven't filled the tank yet.

I never do that much driving around the holidays anyway so it's all the same; I stay in town and mainly drive to the person's house I'm going to dinner with.

I don't travel much for the holidays. Not worth the trouble. Being Retired, I travel on off times and save my pocket book.

All of my relatives and friends live in town. So, nothing will change. And even if I had to travel, it would take a lot higher gas prices for me to change. Other circumstances maybe. But not gas prices. I would just have to plan.

Compared from last year, i think this year will be taking the public transportation more to get around town instead of driving. Driving will be less, but you know it is never a bad idea to take a break from driving...=)

It would be easier to drive if the state had not cancelled my driver license. Bicycling is colder, but keeps me out of the warmth of jail. I hope to get my license back soon. They even have a speed limit of 250knots below 10,000ft. Speed limits are immoral. Safety is required.
